Symposium theme is titled "Bridging the Gaps" as Istanbul extends both on the European and on the Asian sides of the Bosphorus, and the only metropolis in the world that is located on two continents.
"Bridging between theory and practice, people with and without disability, academics from different disciplines, academics and staffs working in the practice from over the world"

Specific objectives include:
  • To promote interdisciplinary dialogue between researchers and practitioners within the field of Adapted Physical Activity,
  • To present good examples in Adapted Physical Activity teaching-training
  • To present forum of good practical examples in Adapted Physical Activity
  • To disseminate and discuss recent scientific and technological advances in adapted physical education and related areas.
