Sample Abstract

Publication of the Papers

All papers submitted for this symposium are peer-reviewed. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee, and the authors will be notified of the outcome of the evaluation. The abstracts will be selected as oral or poster presentations and will be published in the symposium Book of Abstracts.

Selected papers from the symposium will be published in a special issue of the Hacettepe Journal of Sport Sciences (HJSS). HJSS, established in 1991, is a journal with a scientific advisory board and is published four times a year. It is indexed in the ULAKBIM Social and Human Sciences Database. The main purposes of the journal are (a) to share results of experimental studies and other types of data-based research concerning human movement and sport sciences, and (b) to uncover the answers to practical questions, utilizing descriptive and other methodological approaches. In addition, review articles are encouraged that examine the latest developments in sport and movement sciences.

The symposium Editorial Committee will consider all papers submitted, and will invite the authors of selected papers to send a full paper to be published in the special issue of HJSS. Papers on all topics of the symposium will be selected equally for publication. Full papers should be typed in Microsoft Word, double-spaced with 2.5 cm. margins on all sides and 1.5 cm between paragraphs. You should use 12 pt. Times New Roman font. The maximum full paper length is six (6) pages (2000 words). A full paper in excess of six pages will not be reviewed. All figures, tables, references, etc. are included in the page limit.
